A South Carolina resident said this about Saxon Mortgage: “My mortgage company Amtrust Bank went bankrupt and my mortgage was transferred to Saxon. I have called Saxon for the past month about my mortgage and they did not have my mortgage transferred yet. March 1 came and went and my mortgage still not transferred. Cannot make mortage payment. Called a couple of other times, and gentleman said that it could take up to 60 days to transfer my mortgage and under federal law I have 60 days to make a payment when a mortgage is transferred. Today I received a call about late mortgage payment and fee attached to my account for late mortgage payment.”

This all began with a phone call to make my CURRENT Saxon payment in September of 09. During my phone payment the representative asked me if I was “experiencing finanical difficulties”.
