JL in Pennsylvania said: “I have a mortgage with Saxon and they want to take my house as well as my money. I had requested a modification in Nov 2009 due to work hour reduction. Never received the paper work but made the payments anyway. Now in April 2010 they claim ‘missing paperwork’ for a denied modification.

MS in California said: “We we approved for a trial mod back in june of 2009- now they say we do not qualify. We made every payment on time by certified mail. They have ruined our credit by reporting we have not made ANY payments on our credit report.

EM in California said: “My complaint is against Saxon Mortgage, I was one of the first people to apply for the HAP Program in June 2009, I waited quite a while to get my new payment of 1198. approved for the trial period. I made my payments and after the first trial period Saxon Mortgage put me on another trial period in Octoner 2009, my new payment was 995.03 and so I started making the payment of 995.03 .

A Saxon Mortgage customer in Virginia said: “I’d applied for the HAMP modification with SAXON in June 2009 and approved. My mortgage payment was reduce to $1,100. Required papework was submitted three times and finally Saxon said they had all documents. I was told to call Saxon once a week to find status of the modification, and I did call sometimes 3 to 4 times a week I contacted them. I call so muich because I can’t getting different answer from Saxon call center. Later, I received a call from Amanda A, she told me to only contact her from here on out.

RM, no location disclosed, said: “I have been trying to find out about a home modification program with Saxon Mortgage for about a year now. I first applied with them for a modification, to be told they would only freeze my current variable rate for five years. Obviously if I am seeking a modification, I can’t afford my current rate.
