I sent in all required and asked for information in hopes of getting my loan modified. I kept getting turned down. This year I went to a NACA sponsored event in California and met with my lender. They informed me that the investor (Morgan Stanley) had me in a type of mortgage that allows no changes (modifications) to my loan.
LS in Georgia said: “Saxon Mortgage refuses to cooperate with me. I have attempted to obtain a modification for almost 2 years. I was put on 2 repayment plans. I also made 3 trial payments for HAMP program. Now I am being forced to short sell my home or do a Deed in Lieu. Something or someone has to do something about Saxon Mortgage.”
KM in Georgia said: “Back in June 2009 I was told that I were pre approve for the HAMP program and was told to make sure that I make my 3 months trail period on time. I did that and miss a payment in Jan 2010 now I’m told that I’m no longer on the program due to miss payment.
BB in Georgia said: “I have been trying to get a loan modification from Saxon Mortgage for a year. I sent several loan applications and hardship letters. Saxon claims they lost them and I resent the information and I never heard from Saxon until today, October 19. Saxon Mortgage sent a letter stating they are starting forclosure procedure. I need help. Saxon practices unethical practices and misleading information. I cannot pay $1062 a month payment due to loss of income.”
CM in Georgia said: “Saxon is placing force-placed insurance on mortgages that have their own property insurance in order to make it impossible for the homeowner to pay the high monthly bill and then they lose their homes.
