As we prepared to mail our house payment to Saxon Mortgage we realized Saxon changed the payment mailing address. We received no written notification. If you have Saxon programmed in to automatic bill pay system you may have a problem.
I am not sure of the exact date of this change. We used the coupon to mail the payments, and did not notice the change. Today we decided to release a payment through our bank, and noticed the difference in the address.
In the past Saxon has been accused of mailing their “change of terms” in envelopes marked as “Statement enclosed” although there was no statement enclosed. Could it be that Saxon mailed a notice in a junk mail envelope? I doubt they mailed anything at all, leaving pre-programmed payments in limbo.
