DB asks: “I receive numerous daily phone calls from Saxon Mortgage starting the 2nd of the month until the 16th when they receive their payment. Sometimes 3-4 times a day. My high interest house payment has never been assessed a late charge in the entire 3-1/2 years we have had this loan. I e-mailed them a cease and desist order but they still continue. Is this company ready to fail or do they just like harrassing customers?”
SR in Illinois said: “We called Saxon last Monday to verify who backed our loan. We were verbally told it was “Freddie Mac.” My wife asked that they fax us over the doc’s spelling it out for us. We were faxed an “adjustable rate note” rider that was signed by us with our ORIGINAL lender. The Saxon rep. told her that because at the bottom of the doc, it says “multistate adjustable rate note-single family – FREDDIE MAC modified agreement.” So, we could be assured, we were backed by Freddie Mac. Our loan was sold to Saxon approx. 6 mo’s after we closed – so the doc was with the originating lender.
CW in Illinois said: “We had a garage fire on 12/1/08 that spread to our house in which we lost everything we had, good news is we got out unharmed. We have insurance and have hired a local restoration company to repair and rebuild. Our insurance has cut us a check in my name, my husbands name and Saxon Mortgage Services to repair our home and garage.
KM in California said: “I started a Loan Modification effort in September 2008. Saxon told me they will not look at the request unless I was behind on payments and not to send payments. After frustration with the inability to get Saxon to respond after I stopped paying.
